Lamb/Chicken/Soya Curry

Well this is a primarily a non- vegetarian recipe..but since i do not prefer cooking non-vegetarian food at home, i use soya chunks which readily substitutes to all meaty recipes and definitely tastes goood if not better. BTW i do relish white meat and have fair amount of it when I am out.So all those who dislike or have a major aversion to either or all of these may subsitute with veggies. Alright, lets get down to business then...

Coriander powder- 2 tbsp
Cumin/Jeera powder- 1tsp
Garlic paste- 1tbsp
Ginger paste- 1tbsp
Olive oil- 3 tbsp
Salt to taste

Boil 5 cups of water , add salt and soya chunks.cook for 5-7 min or until the chunks are soft and edible. strain the waster and keep aside.

1. In a pressure cooker , add oil and saute onions till light brown. Add the salt for faster cooking.
2. Thrown in the Garlic, ginger paste, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and cumin powder and 1 cup of water and fry till oil separates.
3. Pour in the tomato puree and a cup of water and fry till u see water evaporated.

2. In a pan , pour 2 tbsp of olive oil, add the chopped tomatoes,Chilli/cayenne powder, salt and 1/2 cup of water and cook till they become mushy.
3. Add the fennel powder..cook for 2 min and then the egg plants.

i am a person who is not a foodie, neither do i go ga ga over food the minute i see it... nor live to eat... i eat to live ..yeah ..i eat to keep myself going. Having said that..do not think that i could survive on anything and everything...well i like eating good food...good as in tasty and healthy..though sometimes i binge on some unhealthy food but.. yeah mostly i try not to...

Now this blog is a journey of mine into the world of cooking....my way of cooking ...the way i like it...well most of the times i try my own versions of certain recipes and 9.5 out of 10 times (.5 is trying to be modest) i end up cooking tasty and healthy food... well! in order to remember those recipes i am trying to document it....what better way to document it than blogging it...now you ladies/men can also have a peek into my kitchen and try if you like it...
